Introductory Talk with Dr Chris Johnson
Our first (virtual) event was a success! Huge thanks to all who attended, and especially to Dr Chris Johnson for being our first speaker.
After a small introduction to NSACC and your committee for this year, Dr Johnson gave a great introduction to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear weapons medicine and it’s relation to Critical Care. The case-based talk led us through the major scenarios that you may be faced with in this field, and resulted in a great discussion at the end.
Dr Johnson in a medic based at the RVI, working with the Great North Air Ambulance, a Senior Medical Officer in the Army Reserves, and the Clinical Major Incident lead for NUTH. We will be sure to see him again this year if you missed out this time!
Participating in our events will get you certificates for your CV, and give you a great insight into Anaesthetics and Critical Care as a speciality. Our next event is a series of talks based around COVID-19 and its impact on healthcare. Be sure to buy your membership here to be able to take part.
